Lingua Formula helps students in math, statistics, science, and engineering courses organize the terms, formulas, and key ideas they need to master.
With Lingua Formula you can:
- Add courses and load course-specific terminology and formulas
- Test yourself with practice questions to check your understanding
- Build and print exam reference sheets tailored to your course requirements
The goal is simple: help you understand formulas, remember terminology, and prepare effectively for exams.
Current Beta Content
This beta currently includes content for STAT 352 – Probability and Statistics, taught at the University of Nevada, Reno in Fall 2025.
Getting Started
After creating an account and logging in, you can:
- Add the course
- Load the set of terms and formulas included in the first midterm exam
- Take practice tests to check your understanding
- Print a formula reference sheet allowed during the midterm exam

Throughout the app you will see links labeled Beta Feedback.
If you encounter anything confusing, difficult to use, or missing, please click one of those links and share your observations or suggestions. We read every comment and will use your feedback to improve future versions of the program.
